The Southern Archivists Conference meets bi-annually and serves as a forum for archivists and institutions in member states to share insights on innovative archival theory and practice, to hear from experts in the archival field at large, and to strengthen ties between the archival communities of the South. Currently we have active membership from statewide organizations in Louisiana (LAMA), Mississippi (SMA), Alabama (SALA), and Tennessee (STA).

The 2008 meeting will be held at the Nashville Public Library, 615 Church Street Nashville, TN, from March 26-March 28. Advance registration is $40.00 ($30.00 for students). Registration at the door is $45.00.
